Why do I want to become a teacher?
Hi! I am Rosa María and I am going to talk about why I want to become a teacher. I always wanted to be a teacher, since I was a small girl. When I was a kid, my friends and I played at being teacher. I wanted to be the teacher but they didn't let me because I was younger than them and they could teach more than me.
I always said: "I will be a teacher" and my family liked this idea. They have encouraged me to study the degree in Education, specially my mother, as she couldn't study.
When I was pupil of Primary Education, I liked the contents that I studied and I saw my teachers as persons who know everything. I wanted to become as they.
In addition, I love children. I think that they are innocent, defenseless and they are the future. I have read a sentence of Kennedy about the childhood, I llike it and I want to finish this text with her: "Children are the most important resource in the world and the best hope for the future" (John Fitzgerald Kennedy).
