Task 1: Who am I?

"Who am I?"

Hi! My name is María Sañudo and I am going to talk about the next topic: “Who am I”.

 I was borned in 1991 in Santander, so I am twenty-two year old. I consider that I am a shy, hard-working, sensitive and cheerful person.

About my hobbies, I like going shopping and walking in nature. This is a photo of one of my routes.

I lived in San Pedro del Romeral until the year 1999, where I moved to Torrelavega with my family. My family consists of my parents, my two brothers, and me. We live in a flat in Torrelavega, but my older brother doesn’t live with us.

A have a big family, as my parents have many brothers, so I have many uncles and cousins. But I have a special relationship with one of my cousins. In addition to being my cousin, she is my best friend. Her name is Estela, and she is two years younger than me and we have being together always.

When I lived in San Pedro del Romeral, I used to go to the only school from there. Them, I finished Primary Education at Jose María de Pereda School and I continued my studies at Miguel Herrero High School, where I studied Secondary Education and High School Education.

In 2009, I started the degree in Education at University of Cantabria. I chose education as a degree because I like children and I always have wanted to become teacher.

When I was studying at the school and at the high school, I didn’t like learning English. However, I know that learning other languages, especially English, is very important to find a work, travel….  In particular, I think that know speaking and listening is critical to communicate with others. And causally, this is the skills which I have least developed. That is why I would like to learn these in this class, and, as a teacher, how teach children English.

In the future, I would like to know speaking English very well and also work teaching Primary Education.
